Romano honored to model Husky Gear

Normally I am barreling down a trail all sweaty and smelly!

But not this time at Deception Pass State Park

I was all cleaned up for the trail modeling Husky Gear for the University of Washington magazine!

I was one of four UW alum writers that was chosen for these shoots. And I am deeply honored to represent the university.

Proud to be a University of Washington alum and wear the gear!

I studied history (graduated cum laude) as an undergrad and and education as a grad student at the university.

And it was at the UW where my trail writing career pretty much began!

I wrote a column, Go Take a Hike for The UW Daily for three years.

Little did I know then that it would lead to many, many, many books on trails that I have written since!
