Columbia Highlands: Exploring Washington's Last Frontier (Mountaineers Books)

Released in the Spring of 2007, this beautiful coffee table book (photographs by James Johnston and others) is being used by Conservation Northwest for outreach to protect wild lands in Eastern Washington. Columbia Highlands was a 2007 finalist in the Banff Mountain Book Festival.

Hiking in Snohomish County is a full color brochure that I wrote and photographed for the Snohomish (WA) County Tourism Bureau. Hiking in Snohomish County is one of the most popular and requested brochures issued and/or distributed by the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau. A revised and expanded second edition was published in 2009.

Day Hiking Central Cascades (Mountaineers Books)

The Sixth book in the Washington Day Hiking series, and third one that I authored. Photographed by Alan Bauer, this is the second book that we have teamed up on.

Best Wildflower Hikes Washington (Mountaineers Books)

Co-authored with Karen Sykes of the Seattle PI, noted botanist Art Kruckeberg and the late Ira Spring of 100 Hikes Series, this book released in 2004 was the first to carry my name as an author.

Winter Hikes of Western Washington Card Deck (Mountaineers Books)featuring 13 never-before-published hikes was released in the summer of 2009.
